While Ferrari Considering to Star Charles Leclerc in Le Mans, the Monegasque Has Already Chosen His Teammate
Ferrari managed to achieve their first major victory since 2007 when they won the centenary edition of 24 Hours of Le Mans after more than 50 years. It was recently reported that the bosses at Maranello now want to deploy Charles Leclerc in the endurance race to try and attempt to keep up the winning streak. And now, as per a report by Autosport, Leclerc has already decided who he wants to team up with at Le Mans.
Leclerc already showed his passion for endurance racing by being present trackside when Ferrari claimed their iconic victory. While present there, Leclerc also mentioned that he would love to race at the Circuit de la Sarthe one day.

Now, he has opened up about his ideal partner if he does decide to race at Le Mans someday. And Leclerc has put his faith in someone from his own bloodline.
The dream team for Charles Leclerc
In an interview with Autosport, Charles Leclerc revealed that he would love to take part in Le Mans alongside his brother Arthur Leclerc. The younger Leclerc currently plies his Trade in F2 and is also a part of the Ferrari Driver Academy.
Asked if he had thought about teaming up with his brother for Le Mans, Leclerc said: “Oh, yes…many times.”
“It’s definitely something I want to do one day, and with my brother for sure. But I don’t know if this will happen.”

When asked about his plans regarding Le Mans, Leclerc said, “It’s definitely something I want to do one day and with my brother for sure.” As for the third driver, Leclerc went for his long-time friend Antonio Fuoco.
With reports suggesting that Leclerc is on his way to signing a contract extension worth $198,500,000 that will keep him at Ferrari for the next 10 years, all of this might become a reality.
Leclerc’s Commitment to Ferrari
While there has been much discussion about Leclerc being frustrated with Ferrari, the Monegasque has repeatedly emphasized that his loyalty lies with the Scuderia. In a recent interview with Motorsports.com, Leclerc admitted that he is completely committed to his current team.
Leclerc said, “I have a huge love of Ferrari. And my first target and my first dream is to become a world champion with Ferrari, more than anything else.”
Therefore, even with the struggles that the Scuderia is currently going through, having such a strong driver committed to their cause will definitely help the team.
