Rumors of Angela Cullen Getting Fired by Lewis Hamilton for “Unknown Misdemeanors” Proven False

Business F1 has revealed that the rumors surrounding Angela Cullen’s split with Lewis Hamilton are false. According to the magazine, it was rumored that Cullen had been fired for ‘unknown misdemeanors.’ But in the latest edition of their magazine, Business F1 has revealed that “there is no truth in the rumors that she was fired after Hamilton got wind of some antics with a well-known (rival) F1 driver and she was one of his conquests.”

Hamilton and Cullen had shockingly parted ways earlier this season after being together for the past 7 years. In the aftermath of the shocking announcement, Mercedes boss Toto Wolff said that it was Hamilton who was looking for a change.

F1 journalist Tobi Gruener shared Wolff’s quote on Twitter and claimed that Wolff revealed that Hamilton had initiated the split with Cullen. However, some fans had called out Gruener for misquoting Wolff and asked for exact quotes.

Toto Wolff reveals the reason behind the split

The news had come as a shock to the fans as the duo were quite famous on the paddock. Cullen was not just Hamilton’s physio, she was also his closest ally and the most trusted aide.

Following the shocking announcement, Wolff was asked if the news was as much a surprise for him as it was for the fans. The Mercedes boss gave an insight on the matter and revealed that in every team the relations with the physio is not something that can remain a constant.

He further explained, “We all develop as people and as an organization. And if things don’t work out anymore, we need to be honest about it and then bring change.”

What did Lewis Hamilton say about Angela Cullen?

Hamilton started the 2023 season with yet another underperforming car and split with Cullen during such a critical time raised many eyebrows on the paddock. However, making the announcement Hamilton had nothing but positives to share about his years-long friendship with Cullen.

Sharing an Instagram post, Hamilton said, “Angela has been by my side, pushing me to be the best version of myself. I am a stronger athlete and a better person because of her. So today I hope you’ll join me in wishing her the very best as she takes her next steps to pursue her dreams. Thank you for everything Ang, I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you.”
