After Defeat at Singapore GP, Red Bull Boss Identifies the Race Where Max Verstappen May Face Challenge From Rivals
Red Bull has been the most dominant team of the 2023 season by far. However, the Singapore GP saw an entirely different version of the Austrian team as they suffered their first defeat of the season. Now, going ahead, team principal Christian Horner, as per MotorsportWeek shared that the upcoming Sprint races could see Red Bull falter yet again.
Max Verstappen and Red Bull were on a magnificent winning streak before Carlos Sainz broke it at the Marina Bay Circuit. The Dutchman was on a ten-race winning streak, while his team won 15 on the trot.

As the Milton-Keynes-based team appeared weak going into the Singapore race, Ferrari made use of their pace, took home the pole position, and followed it with their first win of the season. Nevertheless, for Horner, there are more chances for Red Bull to lose in the next few races.
Red Bull might see itself on the verge of collapse
As Red Bull took 15 wins out of 16 races so far, they look in complete control of the season. With the Constructors’ championship already in the bag, all they can do is focus on the upcoming season. However, Horner believes they still need to be cautious in the upcoming races.
The Red Bull honcho is wary about the upcoming race weekends that will see three Sprint races. Given how there is less time for experiments during sprint race weekend, it might go against them if they don’t get the car set up right.

Furthermore, the British boss also mentioned how the 2022 Brazilian GP was a race where the RB-18s were weak. Nevertheless, Verstappen would look to seal his championship amid the incoming troubles.
When will Max Verstappen be able to clinch his championship?
Max Verstappen is just inches away from claiming his third straight world championship. The Dutchman continued to reign supreme and kept his dominance from last year.
He picked up 15 wins last year and this time around, he went up a notch with 13 wins already. In doing so, he is on the verge of sealing his title as early as the Qatar Grand Prix Sprint race.
As Verstappen is expected to seal his title in the next race weekend, Sergio Perez needs to step up as well to keep his P2 safe. After a troublesome Japanese Grand Prix, Christian Horner believes the Mexican will be back to form in the upcoming races.
