Dhoni stops his car to meet a young fan: The Indian wicket-keeper was recently seen chatting with a young fan on the road.

Former India captain and current wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni has once again proved as to why he is one of the most adored cricketers of the modern times.

It is these gestures which have aided him in accumulating a loyal fan base and something which entice people to associate themselves with the usually grounded cricketer.

In which is not the first time that Dhoni has done something special for his fan, Dhoni has performed these acts earlier as well. As recently as the fifth ODI against Windies at Thiruvananthapuram, Dhoni was seen taking out time to meet a special fan ahead of the match.

In a recent video which has gone viral on social media, the 37-year old cricketer is seen opening the door of his car to chat with a young fan. Furthermore, Dhoni shares a warm handshake with the fan before moving ahead in his car. With the seat belt applied, Dhoni was sitting on the seat besides the driver.

With Dhoni not part of the T20I squad now, his next international assignment will be the ODI leg of India’s tour of Australia in January. Post which, Dhoni will travel to New Zealand to play another ODI series. Before the ICC World Cup 2019, India will play an ODI series against the Australia at home. In between the series against Australia and the World Cup, Dhoni will be seen taking part in the 12th edition of the IPL (Indian Premier League).
