WATCH: Kimi Raikkonen’s perfect response when asked about leaving Ferrari
Kimi Raikkonen will be off to Sauber in 2019 after Ferrari decided not to renew the Finn’s contract post the ongoing season.
Reports had started to come in during the Monza weekend that the Ferrari management had already decided to bring in Leclerc and let Kimi leave.
Ever since Kimi has been very grateful for his time at Ferrari and has spoken very highly of his teammates and colleagues.
Things have gone fairly well for Kimi since then, as he even managed to get his first race win in 5 years, when he won the United States GP.

With the Abu Dhabi GP lined up for this weekend, things are going to change at Ferrari, as Kimi isn’t going to be around from the 2019 season.
Speaking about his last race, Kimi said that he wasn’t really sad, because he was going to meet his teammates in the future.
“I‘m not sad. I don‘t see why I should be sad. Do you think we never see each other, talk to each other. We are still friends and that‘s more important than being in the same team.” Raikkonen said.
