WATCH: Steph Curry gives bounce pass alley-oop to Giannis who banks it in
Steph Curry has been warming up really well into the second half of the season. After having suffered a groin injury early on, the Warriors man is back to his best and is gunning for another successful second half of the NBA season.
Coming into the All-Star Weekend, Curry knew it was going to be a homecoming of sorts for him. He grew up in Charlotte, where his father Dell Curry played. Both he and his brother played most of their initial basketball in Charlotte and the weekend was always going to be a family affair.
The skills challenge proved to be exactly that, with Dell Curry participating in the charity event and the Curry brothers taking part in the 3-point challenge.
Now, with the All Star game tonight, Steph Curry was once again going to make an appearance in his home town and he was ready to put on a show.

Stephen Curry told Under Armour to ditch any All-Star Weekend party plans, and throw the brand’s entire budget into renovating his childhood Charlotte rec center.

While he was off with his shooting in the initial part of the game, he shifted his focus on concentrating on some breathtaking assists.
He tried a double behind the back alley-oop but couldn’t pull it off, but he wasn’t ready to shy away post that.
He received the ball on the left, hit it hard into the ground, with the ball bouncing way over the rim, and Giannis banking it home in emphatic fashion.
At the half, #TeamGiannis leads #TeamLeBron, 95-82

The alley-oop got the entire ‘Team Giannis’ bench to go off, with the crowd having thoroughly enjoyed what their local town hero had just done.
