WATCH: Turn 11 and 12 shots at Australian GP make you feel the real speed of F1 cars

The F1 season is well and truly back, as the first free practice session in Australia has just come to an end.

The cars are roaring on the circuit again, our favourite drivers are out there doing their thing and fans the paddock is full of bustling activity once again.

The Aussies have come in numbers for the first day of F1 being back and it is great to see that these new cars are once again providing the excitement that the F1 fans have been craving for in the off-season.

While all fans are aware of the real speeds that these F1 cars operate at, TV coverage can make the viewer ignorant to the fact that how quick these cars really are.

Turn 11 and Turn 12 shots at the Australian GP during free practice give a good indication of how fast these F1 cars really are, something that TV viewers have been longing for.

The first free practice session has brought Mercedes to the top of the grid, with Lewis Hamilton leading the pack.

Sebastian Vettel is a close second with Charles Leclerc closing in on the Hamilton-Vettel rivalry.

Kimi Raikkonen has refused to leave the top 6 and the season seems to be aprimising one for both Kimi and Alfa Romeo.
