Lionel Messi goal vs Levante: Messi opens scoring with brilliant finish to give Barca lead
Lionel Messi made an instant impact in the game as Barcelona took the lead in a title-decisive fixture against Levante.
Lionel Messi came on as a substitute at the beginning of the second half and made an instant impact.
Barcelona had been rather dull in the first half as the side struggled to penetrate the Levante defence. However, the arrival of Messi changed the tempo of the game significantly as Barca began to threaten Levante and were finally rewarded in the 62nd minute.
Messi replaced Phil Coutinho before the kick-off in the second half. Messi was seemingly rested for the game as Barcelona takes on Liverpool in the Champions League semifinal next week.
With this goal, Barcelona are now in pole position to secure the La Liga title. The Catalan giants only need a win and would aim to hold on to the lead or score more goals in the game.
Lionel Messi goal vs Levante:
Luis Suarez initially took a shot on the goal but failed to score. However, the ball came for a rebound and Lionel Messi did no mistake as he coolly finished the attack with a brilliant shot.
Here’s the goal:
Gooooal!!!!!
Lionel Messi gives Barcelona the lead after coming of the bench. He might have just handed the title to the Catalans with this goal. What a beauty.

This could well be the title-winning goal for Barcelona, and it is rather poetic that the goal was scored by Lionel Messi who has unarguably been the most important player for the Catalan giants this season.
Messi has scored the most number of goals for Barca this season, and has registered the highest number of assists for the side.
With a goal in this game, Messi has either scored or assisted in every La Liga game at Camp Nou this season.
