RR vs RCB- Weather report, Pitch Report and Head to Head

The eleventh season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has lived up to it’s hype with each team is trying to do their best to outclass other teams. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) find themselves at the bottom half of the points table.

They have managed to win only 2 games out of 5 matches so far this season. They have been fantastic in certain games while they do blunders in some.

“Dan Vettori, our coach, is one of the more cerebral personalities in cricket. He suggested on the evening before the match against Delhi Daredevils that we should gather as a squad and watch a film about the infamous American League Championship Series in 2004, when the Boston Red Sox trailed 0-3 against the New York Yankees but fought back to win 4-3,” de Villiers wrote in the journal.

In their game against Delhi Daredevils, RCB side led by Virat Kohli was on the line to lose the match. But AB De Villiers saved the team and took it over the line to seal a victory for his team.

He played a blasting knock of 90 to ensure his team’s victory in the encounter. De Villiers stated that they desperately wanted to win the game and didn’t want to give chance to cricket pundits to criticize them again.

“It is hard to overstate the importance of RCB’s win over Delhi Daredevils in Bengaluru on Saturday. We didn’t want to lose again at home. We didn’t want to slip to the bottom of the table with four defeats in our first five matches. We didn’t want to hear the pundits talking again about RCB underperforming and failing to live up to their potential” he added in his column.
