Tony Khan hits out at WWE President Nick Khan following reports of talks with NJPW. AEW are currently in a working relationship with the Japanese promotion.
Recent reports suggest that the WWE, spearheaded by their president Nick Khan, are looking to be the exclusive American partners to New Japan Pro Wrestling. The Japanese promotion already has an existing relationship with All Elite Wrestling.

AEW President Tony Khan was far from impressed after finding about talks between both companies. Tony addressed the situation ahead of tonight’s episode of Dynamite, calling himself the only Khan in the Wrestling business and referring to Nick as a “con-man from Connecticut.”

“I read in the Observer today that New Japan is in talks with WWE’s President Nick Khan. Well, Nick I have to saw that if you’ve been talking to New Japan Wrestling for two months then you’ve gotten a lot done.”
Tony bragged about the NJPW talent he had on his show recently and also brought up Jon Moxley’s IWGP United States Title defense on Dynamite.
“I have future plans for the US Title, so you’ve really gotten a lot done in the last two months, Nick. In fact, I think there’s only room for one Khan in the wrestling business. It’s me, it’s Tony Khan, it’s not some con-man from Connecticut. Have a fun show tonight, Nick. See you on Dynamite.”
Tony Schiavone heaped praise on his boss after the promo revealing that it was all in one take.
“If anyone watches this video and still claims that @TonyKhan can’t do promos, then you know that that person is full of sh*t. (That was one take btw!)”
