AJ Styles has already joined the likes of Hulk Hogan, John Cena and CM Punk
After a sensational debut year in WWE, AJ Styles has continued his rise as one of the most dependable superstars on the roster.
Widely regarded as the best wrestler of his generation, Styles has had an incredible ride in the company so far.
After mixing it up with some of the best in the business, Styles has managed to earn the love and respect from the WWE Universe, as the Phenomenal One has well and truly lived up to his moniker.
Last year was a solid follow up to his incredible 2016, as Styles won back his WWE title in latter half of 2017, justifying the faith that the company has in him.

And the superstar has already created history in 2018, as he joined the likes of Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund, Hulk Hogan, John Cena and, of course, CM Punk in being the only men to start two consecutive calendar years as WWE Champion.
Syles was the champion exactly a year ago, when he was involved in program with John Cena, which eventually culminated at the Royal Rumble.
Styles and Cena went on to have a match for the ages at the Rumble, as Dave Meltzer gave the match a five star rating. While Styles lost his title to Cena that night, he walked out of the arena after earning the respect of the entire WWE Universe.
AJ will now need their support when he faces both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at the Royal Rumble PPV, as Styles will have the odds stacked against him in the handicap match for his WWE title.
Look’s like it will be difficult for Styles to walk out of this year’s Royal Rumble with his WWE Championship title!
