“Alcaraz Got Sinner and Medvedev”: Novak Djokovic Fans Ecstatic With ‘Gift’ Draw at US Open
The draw for the US Open 2023 has been released and Novak Djokovic will be the pleased with it. The Serbian superstar has avoided all of his potential threats and is on course to make it to yet another US Open final. The 36 year old will face none of Medvedev, Sinner or Tommy Paul, as all of them have been drawn in the other half of the draw.
Novak Djokovic fans’ are esthetic with this draw and believe that the 23 time Grand Slam champion can add a record 24th title at the Flushing Meadows. The Serb will be enjoying the easier half of the draw but could face Carlos Alcaraz in the final.
Novak Djokovic fans elated with US Open draw
Djokovic has an easy draw compared to this direct opponents and does not face any of the favorites for the tournament. The Serb could potentially face Auger-Aliassime in the fourth round before facing Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarter-finals. Djokovic will face either Rune or Ruud in the semi finals before facing Medveded or Alcaraz in the finals. The 36 year old will be favorite to reach the final of the US Open again after being handed a decent draw.
Djokovic’s biggest threat for the title is young Carlos Alcaraz. The Spaniard is the world number 1 and will be determined to win consecutive Grand Slam titles after winning the Wimbledon. The 20 year old is handed a tough draw as he faces Sinner/Zverev in the quarterfinals and Medvedev in the semi final before potentially facing Djokovic in the final. Alcaraz has been caught in a heavy top half of the draw.
Djokovic fans’ are delighted with the draw and expect the Serb to cruise to another final at the US Open. The world number 2 has avoided both Sinner and Medvedev in his half and the stage is set for the Serbian to have another good run at the US Open.
Nice. No complaints here. I’m actually kind of shocked Tommy Paul or Sinner aren’t in Novak’s half tho

Carlos Alcaraz got Sinner (or Zverev) in the QFs and Medvedev in the semifinals at the #USOpen. Heavy top half of the draw.
Djokovic with Tsitsipas, Rune, Ruud at the bottom.

With a favorable draw and good run of form, Djokovic will be rearing to go at the US Open. The Serb could come the first men’s player ever to win 24 Grand Slam titles and move one more Grand Slam away from Rafael Nadal, who has 22.
Will Carlos Alcaraz be able to keep up with Djokovic?
Carlos Alcaraz is the defending champion at the US Open after having won it in 2022. The Spaniard has been dealt a tough draw and could face Sinner in the quarter final and former US Open champion Medvedev in the semi final, before facing Djokovic in the final. The world number 1 has been struggling to win matches in straight sets on hard courts recently and could be playing long 5 set matches, against tough opponents even before getting to the final. The possibility of beating Novak Djokovic in a Grand Slam final with a tired body could be a daunting task even for Carlos Alcaraz.
Djokovic will go into the US Open as a favorite over Alcaraz due to the favorable draw and current form. Fresh from his Cincinnati Masters win, the Serbian superstar will be looking to add another US Open to his trophy cabinet.
