Anthony Davis to the Lakers has been one of the most talked about trades in the last month or so, with LeBron and the Lakers trying everything they can in order to get the Pelicans man to LA.

Reports have constantly suggested that Davis too is keen on a move away, especially because of how Pelicans are placed on the table in the Western conference.

Davis has been constantly asked about how he is approaching the upcoming trade deadline and if he would be on the move.

Davis has been very diplomatic while addressing the question, admitting that he is focussed on the task at hand and wants to do everything possible to help the Pelicans climb up the table in the Western conference.

“That other stuff doesn’t matter to me,” Davis spoke about the speculation about his future.

“The only thing that matters to me is this team right here, and all I can do to help this team win and what we can do as a team to get more wins. The other stuff is for guys outside the team, and media, whoever wants to look at it. For me, it’s about this team and what we can do to win.” he added.

Now, while reports clearly state that Davis wants to be on the move, and Los Angeles is the most likely destination for him.

However, Davis’ Instagram activity doesn’t quite suggest that he is keen on a move to LA, as he recently liked a comment that read, “LA a ‘bum ass city'”.

LeBron James is desperately trying to recruit another superstar to the Lakers, so as to help build a dynasty in LA, one that can challenge the Warriors.

Davis would be a very important buy for the LA franchise, but this Instagram activity of his does pose a massive threat to Lakers’ hope of signing Davis.

Do you think Davis will still end up in LA?
