Arsenal Transfer News: Gunners close to sign Kieran Tierney after receiving major breakthrough in the negotiations with Celtic.

Arsenal started to have a good transfer window, as they are able to fill the gaps in their squads. After completing Nicolas Pepe’s transfer, the Gunners are trying to sign Kieran Tierney from Celtic.

In recent advancements, according to a report by the Metro, Arsenal are ready to upgrade their offer for Tierney, with a larger pay upfront to the Scottish club.

The revised offer came after Celtic declined the initial offer made by Arsenal, but with the new offer, Unai Emery is close to sign the 22-year-old player this summer.

Tierney has told the Scottish champions of his desire to to play in the Premier League and would be welcome reinforcement to a questionable Arsenal backline.

Celtic are reportedly convinced with the new offer, and willing to complete the formalities to propel Arsenal to complete another stellar signing this summer.

The North London club’s defense was the biggest concern last season, as underwhelming performances led to Arsenal’s exit from the top-4 last summer.

However, this transfer window has been merry for Arsenal, even though the club initially announced a slim budget this summer to make transfers, the club still were able to sign William Saliba, Dani Ceballos, and now about to hire Pepe.

With Tierney making a move to the Emirates, most of the problems Arsenal having will solve after a certain time, as all the signings are promising. Although, out of all Saliba will join Arsenal contingent next summer, as he went back to St. Etienne on a loan.

As of now, the official announcements by both the clubs, confirming the news are still awaited.
