Arsenal Transfer News: Sami Khedira spotted at the Emirates stadium amidst transfer speculations. The defensive midfielder was in attendance for the Arsenal vs Lyon pre-season friendly.

Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira was seen at the Emirates Stadium ahead of Arsenal’s preseason match against Lyon. The defensive midfielder has been linked with Arsenal in the ongoing summer transfer season.

Fans believe that this is an indication that there has been a breakthrough in the transfer talks.

Juventus have a wide pool of players to pick in their midfield. That number has swollen after the arrival of Aaron Ramsey and Adrian Rabiot. This has pushed the German a few notches down the pecking order. He is therefore looking for a way out of the club for more playing time.

His appearance at the Emirates though is possibly a hint that a decision has been made. There are of course other possible reasons behind the appearance. He may have simple come to watch the match. After all, the Bayern Women team were taking on Arsenal Women, who were then followed by the Lyon Arsenal match. Sami has represented Bayern Munich before. He is also close friends with Mesut Ozil, with whom he shared the Real Madrid and Germany dressing room before.

Arsenal have been in the news a lot this transfer season. Very surprising considering the limited budget they were supposed to have. Despite all of that, they have managed to punch above their weight and have landed key arrivals that could help them better their previous season.
