Ashley Massaro: Wrestlers unite for Late Star’s daughter in a heart-warming gesture

Ashley Massaro: Wrestlers unite for Late Star’s daughter in a heart-warming gesture to support the teenager.

Ashley Massaro passed away last week under mysterious circumstances. TMZ later reported that the troubled star had taken her own life. The former WWE star is said to have been battling depression and addiction.

A day before her death, she posted on Twitter saying she had responded to fan mail. Just goes to show how we never know the battles others fight behind their smiles.

She is succeeded by her daughter, Lexi Massaro. After the news of her mother’s passing away broke out, she posted a picture of her and her mother on social media with a heartbreaking caption:

“i love you mommy i want to wake up in your arms more than anything i want to give u a big hug please come back this can’t be real.”

Lexi has found her guardian angels in female wrestlers that have taken it upon them to help her as much as they can.

Gail Kim posted on Twitter that the Squared Circle Sisters, a group of women who have previously worked with Ashley Massaro in the WWE, have created a gofundme account to help with Lexi’s education.

Their gofundme page description reads:

“We, the Squared Circle Sisters who had the amazing honor of working with Ashley Massaro in the WWE, have come together to honor Ashley’s memory – and to create light and hope in the wake of tragedy. We all knew and loved Ashley and her beautiful spirit. Her smile radiated the entire locker room and arenas everywhere. We also got to know Ashley’s incredible daughter Alexa. As our way to show Lexi she is not alone, we have started this gofundme campaign to unite us all and show Lexi and her family our love. Every dollar raised will go into an official New York State 529 college savings plan (technical schools, vocational schools and career colleges all included) to provide for Lexi’s continued education – which would have made Ashley so happy. We invite you to please watch the video we put together & join us by contributing to the cause. Let’s keep Ashley’s memory alive now and forever!! Ashley, thank you for touching our souls and being you! Lexi, please stay strong and know you can reach out to any of us for support! YOU ARE NOT ALONE! WE LOVE YOU!! – Your Squared Circle Sisters.”

This is a truly heartwarming gesture that tugs away on one’s heartstrings. One can’t help but feel for Lexi and what she’s going through. It is in moments like these that humanity always pulls through. And how they have pulled together to let a little girl know that she isn’t alone. The Squared Circle Sisters and the people that have supported the gofundme page are proof that Ashley was beloved by her fans and colleagues and that same love has extended to her daughter.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
