Barcelona looking to sign Premier League superstar

Barcelona are currently on course to win the domestic title this season, with the Catalan side looking quite strong in the Champions League as well.

Lionel Messi is having yet another sensational season with the club, as the Argentine is rekindling some of his best form ahead of what looks to be a pivotal summer for the legendary player.

His supreme performance against Chelsea just showed everyone that one his day, there is absolutely no one like the diminutive left footer.

Messi was sensational across both legs, and was once again crucial against Roma last night. The Argentine was brilliant once again, and played a massive part in the victory against the Italians, which saw Barcelona plant one foot in the semi-finals.

But Barcelona are not done yet, as they are planning to launch a huge bid for Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard in the summer.

There may be some complications arising in Antoine Griezmann’s transfer to Barcelona, as the Frenchman was certain to join the Catalans in the summer.

But Atletico are still giving their best to retain him, and have also offered him to various other clubs in Europe. According to latest reports, Manchester United and PSG have rekindled their interest in the French striker.

United are deciding to sign one of either Gareth Bale or Antoine Griezmann in the summer, as the Old Trafford outfit are in the market for a superstar signing to boost their chances of competing against Manchester City next season.

Barcelona are therefore looking at Eden Hazard as an alternative, as the Chelsea star is ready to leave England after several successful years at the club.

The fact that Hazard is a prime target for Real Madrid is all the more reason for Barcelona to snatch the Belgian, as snatching Hazard right from Real’s nose would go down very well at the Nou Camp!
