Coutinho and Dembele are two of the most highly valued players in the club even after seeing a drop in their value. For Barcelona to offer them plus cash is a very clear indication that they want him to turn out for them this season.
No less than 300 million Euros!
However, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has dismissed the bid. They have reported that the French champions are looking for a bid in the region of 300 million euros and will not entertain any offers under it.
Having just taken a loan for the purchase of Antoine Griezman, Barcelona have virtually no money left in the kitty. It will be interesting to see if PSG are just playing hardball and will eventually relent. Or even what methods Barcelona employ to gather the funds.
