Best Clash Royale Players in the World: Here is a list of some of best players to have played Supercell’s famous PvP real-time strategy game.

Now, if any of you are avid followers of Clash Royale, you’ll know by now that CRL West Fall Season is just around the corner. In fact, it starts in less than 3 days, on the 19th of September.

So, before we get ready for Clash Royale’s premier tournament, it only seems fit that we take a look at some of the best to have ever played the game.

Best Clash Royale Players in the world: List of Legends – Surgical Goblin.

Our first group consists of players who are the proven masters of the game. That means these players have already achieved a level of success that is as great as any other.

To start the list, a name almost everybody has heard of, we have Surgical Goblin aka Frank Oskam. Frank, also known as Surg, is a Dutch pro who was one of the world’s best for 3 years straight in the game’s history. That’s right! 3 years in a row, he won almost every pro event held in the game. This includes his King’s Cup win in 2017 as well as the Clash Royale World Cup in 2019. He was also considered to be one of the most innovative and skilful players in the pro scene. Also, Frank was excessively calm. He was without a doubt, one of Clash’s earliest Gods. In fact, to this day, he remains the most famous pro to have played the game.

However, notice something weird there? I said everything good about Surg in the past tense. That’s right, all that we said about him holds true up until 2019. From 2020, Frank has been but a shadow of the player he once was. His CRL West Spring Edition 2020 was his worst yet.

List of Legends: Morten.

Therefore, now that Frank no longer is the best, who takes his place? I mean, someone needs to take his place, right? This brings us to Morten Mehmert aka Morten, the best player in the game today. While Surg was bathing in endless glory in 2017 and 2018, a certain guy from Germany was practising behind closed doors. What for? To be the best at Clash Royale of course! This guy was Morten Mehmert.

Morten rose to fame in 2019 as he led SK Gaming to their first CRL West title. In the finals the same year, facing Surg, he was part of what is considered today as the greatest match in Clash Royale history. It was a fight for the cup. A fight between the old dog and the new one. Unfortunately for Morten, he lost. However, with that performance, he did cement his position at the very top of the game. This year in CRL West 2020 Spring Edition, he proved himself once again by single-handedly carrying his team to the finals.

Morten is known for his amazing skill with fast cycle decks. The miner is his go-to card while the mine control archetype is his go-to deck type.

Best Clash Royale Players in the World: The Veterans & The New Wave.

Morten and Surg have played at such a level for so long now that they deserve their own bracket. However, that does not mean, they are the only amazing players in the game. In fact, the list is so long that we had to shorten our briefs from here onwards to get all of them in.

• B-Rad: B-rad is easily one of the most popular players in the game after Surg. He is a Canadian former pro who left the scene in 2019. Before that, he was a total beast. Known to be a great minor player, B-rad also introduced many weird new tactics into the game. Most famous of these is his use of the Clone spell at CCGS 2017. He also holds the record for the highest no. of Grand Challenge wins in-game.

• Mugi: From B-rad, we now switch to some of the more recent talents in the game. This brings us to Mugi. Though unproven on the pro scene as of yet, he is considered the best cycle player in the game in 2020. He is also the most dominant pro in the CRL East set-up this year.

• Jupiter King: From Mugi, we come to Jupiter King, another one of the game’s new young talents. Like Mugi, he is also known as one of the best at cycle decks. Moreover, the South Korean’s performance at this year’s CRL West Spring Season was just sigh of perfect.

The list could go on and on. We could keep listing more great players and talking about their talents and exploits. To be honest, there are a great many of them. And almost all of them are very good. So, we’ll just mention the names of the others here.
