Valorant’s latest mode, Premier is already in its beta stage. With the first match held on April 29, 2023, a lot of people have been left with many queries related to the mode. This article will give you all the information about the mode and answer all Valorant Premier Beta FAQ.

Once the mode is taken off the beta stage, Riot Games will be open to feedback about the mode before it becomes a permanent feature in the game.

The format of the game enables people to make a team of their own and register for the mode. With two matches each week, the mode will head to the Tournament Day on May 21, 2023.

Where can Valorant Premier Beta be found?

  • Players should head to the home page and from there they will find it right below the Play option.
  • An explanation of this can be found when players visit the Premier Hub for the first time.

When and what is the test tournament?

  • On May 3, Riot will host a test tournament that is available in every zone. This is done to ensure that update is working perfectly fine and there won’t be an issue when the Playoff Tournament takes place.
  • This tournament will not have an impact on the team standings, Premier Score, W/L record, or eligibility for the Playoff Tournament.

Who is eligible for Valorant Premier Beta?

  • To be eligible for Premier Beta, players have to verify themself through SMS verification. In addition to that, they have to have completed their placements anytime in their lifetime.
  • Once the criteria is met, players will be able to create their teams.

What changes can be made to the team after the beta starts?

  • Once players have made the roster, they can’t change it. Riot allows upto seven players in each team. Roster shuffling is allowed but adding more players is not allowed.

Valorant Premier Beta schedule

Players registered for the Valorant Premier Beta will play for four weeks before heading to the Playoff Tournament. The tournament will take place on May 21, 2023. Players will have to maintain a good Premier score to make it to the tournament.

Here is the weekly schedule for Premier Beta:

Week 1

  • Saturday, April 29 (Ascent)
  • Monday, May 1 (Ascent)

Test Tournament

  • Wednesday, May 3

Week 2

  • Saturday, May 6 (Pearl)
  • Monday, May 8 (Pearl)

3rd Week

  • Saturday, May 13 (Bind)
  • Monday, May 15 (Bind)

Week 4

  • Saturday, May 20 (Haven)

Playoff Tournament

  • Sunday, May 21

For each time zone, players will have a different queue timing. If by any chance players don’t find a match within the wait time of eight minutes, they should not leave the queue. They would get matched with the next team that joins the queue.
