Big E- Former Intercontinental Champion makes WWE Return

Big E- Former Intercontinental Champion makes WWE Return in a knee brace.

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston along with Xavier Woods kicked off SmackDown tonight. The duo announced the return of their New Day Brethren; Big E.  They bought out someone underneath a black curtain. He turned out to be a random person instead. The duo send him back angrily. The real Big E came out shortly to a roar. The gyrating superstar hugged his fans as he made his way into the ring.

The three had a little banter between them before Sami Zayn interrupted them. Zayn walked out with Kevin Owens by his side. He berated The New Day for celebrating Big E’s return. The superstar expressed disgust that he never received a celebration despite being on the shelf for months while E got his after being out for only 6 weeks. The trio offered no sympathy to Zayn and told him that he sucked instead.

Sami continued his tirade against the group and scolded them for encouraging the toxic culture of the fans with their pancakes and Booty-Os. He then threatened to beat up Kofi so bad, he’d be lucky to even walk.

Kofi Kingston, having heard enough, finally responded to the critic of the critics. He told him not to get fooled by the pancakes; when it’s time to throw down – he’ll throw down. Sami Zayn tried to respond but Xavier Woods interrupted him with his trumpet. Big E led a New Day Rock’s chants while Sami Zayn finally decided to retreat.

Sami Zayn Vs Kofi Kingston was announced on the WWE.com yesterday.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
