BREAKING: Yuvraj Singh successfully clears the Yo-Yo Test, all set to make a comeback

In a good news for Yuvraj Singh fans, the ‘Never Give Up’ hero Yuvraj Singh has successfully cleared the Yo-Yo test. Ever since the chairman of selectors, MSK Prasad was appointed, fitness Test was considered as the basic parameter for a player to be in the Indian cricket team.

Yuvraj Singh failed the test in the early stages and that’s why he couldn’t make the cut in the team. Earlier there were even reports linked to Yuvraj Singh saying that he rejected a farewell game given by BCCI. Ever since he failed the test, he sweated it out in the NCA and now it’s pretty good that he passed with a satisfactory score of 16.3 in the test.

The minimum cutoff score to pass the test is claimed to be 16.1 and Yuvraj Singh was well beyond the numbers. His passion and determination on the game is something that nudged him to come up to this extent. Now he is contention to get selected for India’s setup.

Indian journalist Vikrant Gupta confirmed the news via his official Twitter account by saying that Yuvraj Singh has passed the YoYo Test. His caption read, “While we wait for the Indian Test (SA) team and T-20s (SL) comes news that @YUVSTRONG12 clocked 16.3 on the YoYo test. What say guys????”

India are yet to announce the squad for Sri Lanka T20Is and for South Africa tour. It will be interesting to see Yuvraj Singh to make a cut in the squad which is a good news for him as well as for India. Let’s hope that the Indian selectors give a green signal to Yuvraj Singh in the times to come.

Other than Yuvraj Singh, youngster Washington Sundar and Nitish Rana have also cleared the YoYo test at the NCA in Bengaluru. They might also get some chances in the international circuit in the times to come.
