WWE wrapped off the weekend in great style by putting on a great show that has left everyone satisfied. One of the talking points of the event was the match between “The Beast” Brock Lesnar and “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles.

Lesnar picked up the victory by countering Styles’ Phenomenal forearm into an F-5, but it seems that he may have injured his knee during the process.

It has been reported by WrestlingNews.co that Lesnar injured his knee during the closing moments of the match. It seems that his knee buckled while catching AJ Styles to deliver the F-5.

Lesnar was seen favoring his knee after the match, Although it was deemed as part of selling, it seems like a legitimate injury. He hobbled backstage with help from Paul Heyman. Lesnar has been known to work stiff and has gained the reputation of being a reckless worker over the years.

The degree of the injury is not known yet but since his status as a part-timer, Lesnar is not expected to miss any shows as he is next scheduled to appear next year at the Royal Rumble. But, if the injury is potentially serious, it may hamper WWE’s long-time plan for Reigns to face Lesnar at WrestleMania for the Universal Championship as a passing of the torch between the two pioneers of the new era.

Hopefully, the injury is just a minor sprain rather than something serious like a ligament tear. All we know is that you can’t wear down the Beast for too long.

Stay tuned for more updates regarding Lesnar’s injury.
