Cena vs Reigns at Wrestlemania 34?
The WWE came out with flying colors following the 30th edition of SummerSlam. The next night on Raw amidst a raucous Brooklyn crowd, John Cena surprised us all with his entry.
He stayed true to his ‘free agent’ title and came out for a confrontation with The Big Dog, Roman Reigns. So, is WWE ready for Cena vs Reigns like The Rock vs Cena?
What happened on Monday Night Raw
The show opened with an awesome segment between the Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar and the new #1 contender, Braun Strowman.
Following this, General Manager Kurt Angle gave the WWE Universe a ‘surprise’ by introducing John Cena. We were seeing John Cena on Raw after a year.
John Cena came out to his patent vociferous and polarizing reaction. He then proceeded to mention one superstar with whom he had a score to settle.

Immediately then, Roman Reigns’ music hit and he came out to confront the 16 time champion. Both of them traded verbal jabs at each other before being interrupted by The Miz.

Both Cena and Reigns looked ready for a high profile clash when The Miz, Maryse and the Miztourage interrupted. After a series of verbal attacks, the one they call Super ‘Cena’ and the one with the Superman Punch, Roman Reigns teamed up in a tag match. They fought in the main event against The Miz and Samoa Joe.
Tensions boiled over on Twitter
Tensions had been simmering between the two since a month. A twitter battle ensued where Reigns dared Cena to come to His Yard (Raw) and find out who the better man is. This tension seemed palpable on Monday Night Raw as none of the powerhouses were willing to relent.

However, this was not the first time that these two have teased a potential fight. Back in June, Cena had said on his Twitter account that he wanted to prove Roman wrong.
Cena vs Reigns at Wrestlemania 34?
There are rumors that WWE is gradually building up a Wrestlemania match between John Cena and Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship.
Even though the fans have shown widespread resentment, Vince McMahon seems to be hell-bent on projecting Reigns as the new face of the company.
So, are we heading towards this clash at New Orleans on 8th April, 2018? While nothing is fully certain now, one can definitely feel that the seeds have been planted for this fight at the grandest stage of them all.
So will Cena pass the baton to Reigns soon? Looks most likely to happen at Wrestlemania 34!
