Charlotte Flair: The Queen may take on WWE legend at SummerSlam
Charlotte Flair: The Queen may take on WWE legend at SummerSlam according to reports.
This is unusual in the WWE. A big four pay per view is right around the corner and Charlotte doesn’t have a title challenge, defense or a marquee match up her sleeve. She entered Wrestlemania as both a champion and a challenger. Walked into Royal Rumble as a participant in the titular event. She battled Ronda Rousey in Becky’s steed at Survivor Series and Kickstarted Becky Lynch’s new persona by pinning her for the SmackDown championship at last years SummerSlam.

With both challengers for The Raw and SmackDown women’s championship already announced, Charlotte runs the risk of sitting out of the summer’s biggest party. Unless her reported match with a huge Attitude Era goes through.
The Stratusfaction Vs Natural selection
Pro Wrestling sheet have reported that the WWE are currently in talks with Trish Stratus to appear at the upcoming pay-per-view event in her hometown of Toronto. This report is further supported by Charlotte’s flair promo on SmackDown earlier. The Queen demanded a match on the SummerSlam card to prove that she is the greatest female WWE Superstar of all time.

Flair has even started calling herself as the “Queen of all of ERAS of Women’s Wrestling” on social media. This is most likely a setup to bring Trish into the picture.

Trish Stratus is a former WWE Wrestler. She made her debut in 2000 and by the time she had retired in 2006, she was already a household name. She won 7 Women’s championships in her career, which at the time was a record. The record has only been equaled and broken by Charlotte Flair since.
SummerSlam will take place on August 11, 2019 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
