Chelsea News: Watch Christian Pulisic break in tears after being subbed off for USA

Chelsea News: Watch Christian Pulisic break in tears after being subbed off for USA during the international break fixture against Canada.

Christian Pulisisc is having a tough year in football, the USA International is already finding it difficult to settle in Chelsea’s squad and have not been provided with ample chances by the new manager Frank Lampard.

The 21-year-old has made just five appearances in the Premier League, last completing 90 minutes in any competition for Chelsea back on September 25 – and that was in the Carabao Cup against Grimsby.

On the other side, his national side played against Canada during the international break for CONCACAF nations league and lost by 2-0 in an embarrassing display of the game. It’s the first time America had lost to Canada in 34 years, a run of 17 games.

It was 0-0 in the 60th minute when Pulisic was subbed off and in a few moments, it left him shredded in tears as a reaction for being hauled off in the game.

The 22-year-old winger is deemed to be the torchbearer for his national team but at this young age, it becomes difficult to always stand up to the expectations. Moreover, for a while, the USA national team has been performing poor as a unit.

On the other side, Pulisic is also expected to be a superstar at Chelsea, and with the exit of Eden Hazard from theBlues’ squad this summer. The arrival of Pulisic has also raised the bar of expectations, but he has not been in favours of Lampard so far in the season.

Therefore, Lampard would be having a delicate situation to handle as Pulisic would be returning to the club after the completion of the international matches this month.

Next month, USA will once again play Canada next month but this time at their own den and then Pulisic can avenge his team’s defeat.
