Chelsea News: Willian opens up on his future amidst Barcelona transfer speculation as his contract expires at the end of this season.
Chelsea winger Willian has been linked with Barcelona over the years. The speculations have begun once again now that he nears the expiration of his contract. If Chelsea fail to offer Willian a new contract by January, he will be free to come into a pre-contract agreement with overseas club from January 1st.

Barcelona are reportedly following the matter closely. They are said to be looking to put in another bid during January; despite being turned down by Chelsea numerous times in the last 12 months. However, with Willian being one of the very few experienced heads in the Chelsea outfit at the moment, it is unlikely that the Blues will relent once again.
I am relaxed
The Brazilian winger played the Champions League match against Lille yesterday. He started ahead of Pedro and Callum Hudson-Odoi, both of whom came from the bench. Chelsea played a nervous match with Lille before Willian scored the winner to hand Chelsea their first win in the Champions League this season.
When asked if there was any progress with the club over his contract negotiations. Willian however, shrugged any signs of worry and claimed the he was relaxed.
‘No, no, nothing. [But] yes, I am still relaxed. ‘I am calm, I am relaxed. I wait for the club.’ He answered according to Metro.
Chelsea has been abundantly blessed in the wings this season. This has meant that Christian Pulisic has had to wait for his time under Frank Lampard. So dire has been the competition for the places on the wings, that Pulisic failed to even make the squad for their trip to France last night.
