Chelsea Vs Arsenal: Maurizio Sarri expresses his sadness on Mkhitaryan's ejection from the Europa League final

Chelsea Vs Arsenal: Maurizio Sarri has expressed his sadness on Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s expulsion from the Europa League finals.

Chelsea will take on Arsenal in the finals of the Europa League in a week at Baku, Azerbaijan. That location is proving to be flimsy for the supporters to travel, who are finding it difficult because of the lack of transportation. To make things worse, Gunners forward Henrikh Mkhitaryan will stay behind in London due to security concerns.

Azerbaijan and Armenia are tholing an appalling relationship over the years. That constituent has put the bit on the Armenian Mkhitaryan, who will miss the game of gargantuan magnitude.

Player exclusion for the political tension does not seem ethical, at any cost. After consultation with himself and his family, Arsenal released a statement about his withdrawal from the squad. They conducted and pressed high for his inclusion in the finals by chewing the rag with the UEFA, but player’s protection is the foremost.

Opposing manager Maurizio Sarri spoke to the press and expressed his disappointment for Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

“I’m really very disappointed for the situation because I’d like to see him on the pitch” Asked what he’d do if it was one of his players: “In this situation you only have to respect the decision of the man, not the player” said Sarri of Mkhitaryan.

Besides, he spoke about the unavailing environment which would not do a favour to the supporters and expressed his discontentment towards the UEFA.

“I don’t know the situation about the fans and the media, one is probably the consequence of the other. I can only work, try to help my team, play better win matches, I can’t do more.” said Sarri.

There are rumours rumbling about his Chelsea future and Maurizio Sarri pointed out his unhappiness towards that. He claimed that he would rather leave the club if he is judged based on 90 minutes and not ten months.

“If the situation is like this I want to go immediately. You cannot… 10 months of work, and then I have to play everything in 90 minutes? It’s not right. You’re either happy about my work or you’re not happy.” said Sarri.
