Chris Gayle reveals his IPL future
While T20 cricket has not been around for many years, it has created a fair amount of history for itself over the past decade or so. The action packed nature of the game’s shortest format has opened new avenues and taken cricket to new countries.
If we look back at the the history of T20 cricket, one man will always stand out from the rest. Christopher Henry Gayle will go down as one of the finest limited overs batsmen of all time.
But his impact on T20 cricket is what everyone will remember him for, especially his exploits in the Indian Premier League.
On his day, there is no one in cricket who can stop the big Jamaican. His destructive power has laid waste to countless bowlers all over the world, while his jovial nature off the field has enamored him to cricketing fans from all countries.

But after ruling the IPL for a few years, it looks like the big man might be slowing down.
Many people even wondered if Gayle would take part in next edition’s IPL. In order to clarify all those rumors, this is what Gayle spoke to the press a few days ago.
Gayle spoke about his love for RCB as well as the upcoming mega auction.
“That will be up to them, to be honest. The auction will be open to any particular team but at the same time, RCB have been fantastic. To be associated with such a franchise, it has been brilliant,” he said.
“You don’t know what the rules will actually be when that time comes around as well. Hopefully, fingers crossed, you will see Gayle storm in the IPL.” said the southpaw.
