MW Vs BB Dream 11 Team Prediction: Bengaluru Blasters vs Mysuru Warriors Karnataka Premier League Dream 11 Team Picks, Probable Playing 11 And Winner, Toss And Pitch Report

MW Vs BB Dream 11 team Prediction: Last year’s semi-finalists begin the 2019 edition of the Karnataka Premier League by clashing against each other.

Ever since the Indian Premier League took over the domestic cricketing fraternity in India when it comes to T20 showpiece leagues, the state cricket associations decided to go the same way. It lead to a slew of leagues springing up across the country with the governing councils of states conducting leagues revolving around the same concept as the IPL.

With the culmination of the Tamil Nadu Premier League yesterday, the Karnataka Premier League is set to open its sojourn today for the 2019 edition with last year’s semi-finalists Bengaluru Bulls and Mysuru Warriors facing off against each other in the league opener. Last year saw these two sides prevail in their quest for a spot in the top 4 before Bengaluru Blasters eventually ended up defeating their opponents for today to set up a summit clash with Bijapur Bulls.

However the final didn’t shape up as Bengaluru Bulls would have fathomed with the side being put down with ease in what was a runaway win for Bijapur Bulls. Bundled out for jut 101, t was a disappointing way to wrap up what was an otherwise rousing showing from Bengaluru Bulls, a side who’ll be looking to build on that rampant platform in the upcoming season.

Ahead of the newest edition of the league, we have had a change in the schedule with Bengaluru and Mysuru being declared as the only two places where the league will be played, getting 15 and 10 matches each owing to incessant rainfall across other regions. The league which starts on August 161th will culminate on August 31st with the grand final with just the one day of break in the league coming on August 24th.

Pitch Conditions And Toss

This is a surface which always plays in the favour of the batsmen across any tournament that is played here. The average score batting first on this wicket in last year’s season of KPL was 174, one which epitomises how easy it is to score runs and cream the ball to the short boundaries square off the wicket.

With the surface bound to get sluggish as play traverses, the side winning the toss will no doubt be looking to come out and bat first here.

Probable Playing 11

Bengaluru Blasters

Sharath BR (WK), Rohan Kadam, Rongsen Jonathan (C), Naga Bharath, Nishant S Shekhawat, Aditya Goyal, Manoj Bhandage, Kishore Kamath, Anil IG, V Koushik, Anand Doddamani

Mysuru Warriors

Dega Nischal, Aniruddha Joshi, Krishnamurthy Siddharth, Manjesh Reddy, Amit Verma (C), Jagadeesha Suchith, Shoaib Manager, Vinay Sagar (WK), Vyshak Vijay Kumar, M Ventakesh, Kushal Wadhwani

 Probable Winner

With both the sides evenly matched, having immense depth in their batting order and a perusal of clean shitters to come out and whack the ball in the death overs, expect this encounter to be a runs galore one. The boundaries will be easy to come by here with Bengaluru Blasters scoring 220 in their opening match on this track last season.

At the end of the four hours, the Blasters should scamper to a win owing to their better knowhow of the conditions and slightly deeper batting line-up. With them holding a 3-0 record over their opponents for today, expect the 100% winning record to be retained with the Blasters making it four wins out of four.

Wicket-Keeper

Bengaluru Bulls’ wicket-keeper, BR Sharath is our pick for this facet. He came up with some good runs in the previous edition for his side and his role behind the wickets only adds immense value to his section. With the Blasters liking to pick up a hoard of wickets, expect him to be heavily involved in the catches and stumpings and rope in a slew of invaluable points.

Naga Bharath comes in from the side as well owing to the number 4 batting slot he occupies with us wanting to pick out the entire top-order from one of the most complete batting unit in the league.

Batsmen

With 526 runs in 12 matches, one that included 5 50s as well in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy held earlier this year, Bengaluru Bulls batsman Rohan Kadam is our first pick over here. The side are held in reverence for their ability and fortitude to score hefty runs across any surface, something which has been a major reason for their compelling success in the league over the years.

And with them expected to score big runs on a batting conducive wicket today as well, someone who’ll score concurrently alongside Rohan will be Rongsen Jonathan who comes in as well for us. Elsewhere from the opposition we have opted for opener Dega Nischal and Krishnamurthy Siddharth with the side needing their top-order to come good if they are to have any chance of emerging past the finishing line with a win.

All-Rounders

With 151 runs and 6 wickets in the last edition of the league, Mysuru Warriors’ all-rounder Aniruddha Joshi comes into our side. He holds the identity of a pinch perfect all-rounder, the ideal player we always look to indulge in when crafting our Dream 11 side and expect him to put on a good showing today as well.

We have the one all-rounder coming in from Bengaluru Blasters as well with us choosing Manoj Bhandage from the side.

Bowling Order

With all the three matches contested till date between these three being low scoring affairs, one where the highest score has been 148, Mysuru Warriors know they’ll need to pick up wickets early if they are to win today. Traditionally this encounter has always been the Blasters’ bowling unit dominate, decimating Mysuru Warriors with consummate ease, a narrative Mysuru Warriors’ bowlers will like to change today.

This sees us pick up Kushal Wadhwani from the side with the legspinner being someone who is bound to pick up wickets today. Despite this being a solid batting wicket, the ball eventually turns massively on it with the rank turners getting the ball to both turn and grip. Along with this script, the right handed heavy batting unit of the opposition will see his ball leaving them making it extremely difficult to get under the deliveries.

From the Blasters we have chosen Anand Doddamani and V Koushik with the spin and pace domination set to wreck havoc on what is an already meek Mysusru Warriors’ batting line-up.

Captain And Vice-Captain

Rohan is our captain for today while BR Sharath is our vice-captain.
