How Many Times RCB Won IPL: Royal Challengers Bangalore's Season Wise IPL Position List

Royal Challengers Bangalore are among the three Indian Premier League franchises who are yet to win a title in spite of playing since the inaugural season of the tournament in 2008.

RCB, Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings will yet again be entering an IPL season with an eye on an elusive maiden title. Although Lucknow Super Giants have also not won a title till date, their IPL journey only began as recent as last year.

In spite of not lifting the IPL silverware even once, Royal Challengers have ticked many boxes right with respect to setting up a culture and being able to build not only a loyal but one of the biggest fan-bases among all the franchises. It is due to the same reason that their home ground in the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium witnessed thousands on fans during RCB Unbox Event on Sunday.

Set to begin their IPL 2023 journey with a home match against Mumbai Indians on April 2, Bangalore would once again want to commence a season with the hope of finishing a title drought.

How many times have RCB Won IPL title?

Zero.

Having reached the final thrice, Royal Challengers’ best three IPL seasons have come in 2009, 2011 and 2016. Readers must note that Bangalore have qualified for the playoffs for three seasons in a row now. All the Faf du Plessis-led franchise needs is to peak at the exact right time in order to not lose in the playoffs for the ninth time in the imminent 16th season of the biggest T20 league across the globe.
