The first Test of the imminent England’s tour of India will commence at the MA Chidambaram Stadium from tomorrow. The four-match series will resume international cricket in India after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The last time India and England locked horns against each other in Test cricket was in 2018 when England had beat India 4-1 at home. The two teams had last played a Test series in India in 2016 when India had registered a 4-0 victory.

Online users can stream the match on Star’s streaming application named Disney+Hotstar. It is worth mentioning that the match won’t be available on any other streaming platform in India.

As far as the fans in England are concerned, they will be able to watch the Chennai Test on their televisions by tuning in to Channel 4 as Test cricket returns to free to air television for the first time after Ashes 2005.
“Channel 4 will show exclusive free to air live television coverage of England’s Test series against India. And for viewers who can’t manage the early 4 AM start, highlights will be available on All 4,” Channel 4 said in a statement yesterday.
