After what has overall been a poor year in terms of results, the Indian Cricket Team will look to start the new year afresh with eyes on progressing through to their second successive World Test Championship final, followed by the ODI World Cup triumph as the two imperative goals.

They will however, commence with a three-match T20I series followed by as many ODIs as well against their Asian neighbors Sri Lanka, who have troubled them in White Ball format of-late.

The last time these two sides faced each other in a bilateral series was in February this year, when India defeated them 3-0 during the home T20I series. The previous occasion they faced the Lankans was during the Asia Cup this year, when they were handed a 6-wicket defeat which crashed them out of the Asian supremacy championship.
Both these sides will lock horns against each other at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, during the first T20I scheduled to take place on January 3, 2023 (Tuesday).

The online ticket sales for the Mumbai T20I on January 3 commenced today via the Paytm Insider website.
Needless to say, that the ever-enthusiastic Cricket fans were quick to make sure they wasted no opportunity to get hands on the same and catch hold of their favourite Indian stars in action live from ground zero.
As per the website, the online ticket prices range from INR 700 – INR 15,000. As of this moment, ticket prices worth INR 2,000, INR 3,500, and INR 15,000 were available for purchase.
