Trevor Bayliss confident of Sydney Thunder comeback
Sydney Thunder coach Trevor Bayliss has said that he is thankful that the match against Renegades is coming so quickly for the side. After a horrific game against Adelaide Strikers, Bayliss believes that more time between the games would have been bad for the players as overthinking is not at all correct ahead of any game.
Bayliss also had a lot of praise for the Melbourne Renegades, and he called them a really tough side to play against. He insists that the morale of Sydney Thunder players won’t go down as there is a lot of talent in the team, and they just have to play with positive intent in order to win matches.
“Thankfully we have a game on Sunday, so that means our players won’t sit around and think about what happened – they can right the wrong,” Trevor Bayliss said.
“The Renegades have some good players, and what we’ve seen from the start of this season is each of the eight teams can beat the others.”
Bayliss was happy with the formation of the squad as he believes that all the international signings are brilliant, whereas the rest of the players have also proved themselves in the competition.
