Fans’ curiosity has risen to an extent that a large section of spectators at the Holkar Stadium had started chanting Sara’s name when Shubman was fielding near the boundary rope in one of the matches earlier this year.

Speaking of Gill’s latest social media post, a fan commented saying that that Sara Tendulkar’s future name would be Sara Gill. She assumed that both of them will get married in the future. Ahead of Indian Premier League 2023 final, a fan did the same when Sachin had praised Gill.
“Not Sara Tendulkar…She will be Sara Gill,” a fan commented.
In the past, there have been a lot of speculations about Shubman and Sara dating each other. They used to comment on each other’s social media posts and it was once presumed that they even vacationed together in Goa. On Valentine’s Day this year, fans found similarities in their social media posts in spite of them getting uploaded over a year apart from each other.
In addition to Sara (Tendulkar), Gill has also been linked with Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan. They were spotted together on a few occasions. Gill had also provided a hint about dating Sara (Ali Khan) on a Punjabi chat show named Dil Diyan Gallan with actor Sonam Bajwa.

While no exact day can be mentioned about when Shubman and Sara had become a talking point among fans, the latter had called the former as her ‘favourite player’ during an Indian Premier League 2020 match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians. In early 2021, they started liking each other posts and shared similar captions as well.
At the time, several media outlets claimed that both of them were in a relationship. The two, however, never confirmed anything of that sort. During an Instagram Q&A session in 2021, a fan had asked Gill whether he is single and he confirmed that he was.
