Shere Bangla National Stadium Dhaka Weather: Mirpur Stadium Weather Forecast For BAN vs AFG Test Day 1

Conducting a Test match just as the monsoon season in a country is getting down to business is nothing less than playing with fire. With such a setting being mostly followed by consequences, Bangladeshi cricketing fraternity could be in store to face the same in the form of inclement weather conditions at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka, during a one-off Test match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan starting from tomorrow.

With clouds, thunder and showers all predicted in the city in the next 24 hours, the first day of the match could potentially be an eyewitness to a start-stop arrangement in case the forecast proves to be true.

“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are likely to occur at many places in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, at a few places in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country,” June 13’s morning bulletin of the MET office said as per UNB.
