SIX vs HUR head to head: Sydney Sixers vs Hobart Hurricanes head to head records in BBL history

The 11th match of the ongoing 12th season of the Big Bash League will be played between Sydney Sixers and Hobart Hurricanes at the Sydney Cricket Ground tonight making it the 10th venue to host a match this season.

Set to face each other after a year, it is noteworthy that Hurricanes have won three out of their last four matches against Sixers. Played at the same venue, the last contest between these two teams had resulted in a 44-run victory (D/L Method) for the visitors. Individual half-centuries from Matthew Wade (93) and D’Arcy Short (73*) had outdone Josh Phillipe’s (72) half-century.

In a rare instance, Sydney Sixers are reeling at the bottom of the points table on the back of consecutive losses in their first two matches. Slated to play their first home match this season, SS would be keen to return to winning ways on Thursday.

Hurricanes, on the other hand, are at the fifth position on the points table on the back of winning and losing a match each thus far. Having already lost an away match, HH would be eyeing to better their record away from home.
