Yadav’s 41st T20 half-century and 20th IPL half-century (19th for MI) played a titular role in the home team chasing down a 200-run target in 16.3 overs. Yadav, whose maniac knock saw him amass 83 (35), shared a match-winning 64-ball 140-run third-wicket partnership alongside Nehal Wadhera (52*).
Yadav, who hit seven fours and six sixes at a mind-blowing strike rate of 237.14, gave no chance to the opposition to take advantage of picking a couple of wickets in the powerplay.
Often known as a modern-day 360-degree player, the 32-year old player defied all numeric to outclass RCB’s bowlers on Tuesday. Taking refuge in all sorts of insane ramp shots and flicks, Yadav put on a spectacle in real terms in front of their home crowd.
