Weather At Headingley Cricket Ground: Weather in Leeds Tomorrow For 3rd Ashes 2023 Test Day 1

In addition to both the teams, weather at the Headingley Cricket Ground also appears to be practicing to leave an impact on the first day of the third Ashes 2023 Test match tomorrow. With rain affecting both the first and second Tests at Edgbaston and Lord’s respectively, it wouldn’t be surprising to see it consuming some overs in the next match as well.

That said, what is of utmost importance is the fact that the last two matches witnessed outright results. As long as players are allowed enough time to come to a conclusion, no one would be minding a little bit of rainfall. Frankly speaking, losing a session or two across a five-day match aids in making the match even more interesting.

Weather At Headingley Cricket Ground

Although the rain forecast is quite consistent during the playing hours on Day 1, the first session of the match is likely to be most affected. As a result, all the players and stakeholders should brace themselves for a potentially delayed start or a morning session comprising interruptions.

If weather portal AccuWeather is to be believed, rain probability in the morning will range around 50%. The number, however, will reduce to around 30% during the afternoon session.

Assuming that overs are lost in any of these sessions, the last 30 minutes of the day will come in handy to cover up for the loss. Having said that, AccuWeather is also predicting a 40% chances of rainfall at that time.

An affirmative development for one and all is that the second, third and fourth days of this match are highly likely to be bereft of any kind of weather interruption.
