Cristiano Ronaldo 100 International goals: Watch the Portuguese superstar banging in his centurion international goal from a freekick.

Cristiano Ronaldo was on the verge of making it 100 international goals, but something silly as a bee bite delayed him to reach this milestone. Yet, fate couldn’t keep him to make history for long.

Ronaldo against Ukraine scored his 100th international goal for Portugal. If you think this wasn’t impressive enough, the Portuguese International scored it from a free-kick.

Something that hardly people get to watch these days from the 35-year-old player. Portugal received a spot-kick after Gustav Svensson made a dangerous lunge on Moutinho just a minute before the half-time.

This propelled the referee to book him for the second time in the game, forcing Svensson to leave the pitch due to a red card. From here, Ronaldo stepped onto the opportunity and arrows a curling free-kick from 25-yards, reaching into the far left corner beyond the reach of helpless Robin Olsen.

With this goal, Ronaldo is now the highest goal scorer in international games across Europe and 2nd in the world after Iran’s legend Ali Daei who scored 109 goals during his time.

Ronaldo didn’t stop here and in the last phase of the game pinned another goal to his name in the scorecard, taking his tally to 101 goals. Seems like he eyes the world record.

Nevertheless, a great night for Portugal in the tournament, as they easily pass Ukraine with a 2-goal lead.
