Portugal took on Serbia in the Euro 2020 qualifier match last night. The defending champions played visitors as they searched for a victory after drawing their opening games with Ukraine and Serbia.

Cristiano Ronaldo spurred by Messi chants leads Portugal to victory vs Serbia
It is amazing to think that in 2019, after years of watching Ronaldo in action, people still think that chanting Messi’s name will rile him enough and cause him to underperform. If anything, Ronaldo has proven that the opposite is quite true in fact.
Ronaldo remained unfazed by the chants. In fact, it almost seemed to motivate him as Cristiano Ronaldo put his name on the scorer’s list. He roared in celebration with his trademark Siiiuuu jump, bringing the stadium to silence.
