David Luiz Red Card Vs Chelsea

David Luiz Red Card Vs Chelsea: Brazilian defender ruins his return to the Stamford Bridge after Shkodran Mustafi’s error.

A night which could have been glorious for David Luiz turned out to be a disaster for the Brazilian defender as he picked a red card upon his first visit to the Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal visited the Stamford Bridge on this game-week of the Premier League, the first visit by Luiz, ever since he crossed sides in the London city this summer.

However, Luiz’s return at the Stamford Bridge was short-lived as he was penalized with a red card after fouling on Tammy Abraham in the 26th minute of the game.

Even though Luiz picked the red card, he cannot be fully blamed for it, rather Shkodran Mustafi has come under the scrutiny of fans amidst the red card drama.

The German defender had a horrible game and have made poor calls and passes, out of which turned out to be an absolute blunder. Before Luiz was given the red card, Mustafi was on the ball.

He tried to go ahead onto the pitch and find a pass but didn’t realize that Chelsea players were closing passing lines for him due to which he lost the ball at a vulnerable position to Abraham.

The English International then dribbled towards the goal and had a clear chance at the goal but Luiz made a hard tackle on him and ended p denying him a clear goal-scoring chance with a malicious foul which earned him a straight card.
