Who will win DC vs KKR at Feroz Shah Kotla

IPL Match Prediction DC vs KKR at Feroz Shah Kotla: The Sportsrush presents before you the Match Prediction of 10th match of IPL 2019.

The 10th match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League will be played between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders at Delhi. With DC both winning and losing one match each, they will be desperate to be back among the victories against KKR, who have registered victories in both their matches so far.

While the hosts are coming on the back of a six-wicket loss against Chennai Super Kings, the visitors are coming after defeating Kings XI Punjab by 28 runs. Playing their first home match, Capitals would be wanting to start off with a win against Knight Riders, who will be playing their first away match.

What numbers suggest in Delhi Capitals vs Kolkata Knight Riders?

Only the second team to remain unbeaten in IPL 2019 so far, Knight Riders would be relished with their Head-to-Head record against the Capitals. In the 23 matches played by the two teams, KKR have won 13 as compared to DC winning nine of them. KKR also extend their streak at Feroz Shah Kotla, winning five out of the nine matches played at the opposition’s home ground.

While the match results go in Kolkata Knight Riders’ favour, there are a couple of stats which highlight Delhi Capitals’ value in this contest. DC’s average score of 149 against KKR is better than KKR’s average score of 148 against DC. In what is a peculiar stat, Delhi have won all four matches being played on a Saturday against Kolkata.

DC and KKR Paper value

Out of Delhi and Kolkata, picking a better side on paper can be a daunting task. In Rishabh Pant and Andre Russell, both the teams have players who can change the fortune of a match in a couple of overs. With Russell doing the same against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab, KKR seem to be winning the battle of game-changing batsmen.

Talking of the respective opening pairs, DC’s Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw seem to be lacking the firepower against Sunil Narine and Chris Lynn. Moreover, Dhawan playing IPL 2019 with a strike rate of 113.25 seems to be affecting Delhi in the first 10 overs.

Based on the above mentioned reasons, it would not be wrong to say that KKR hold a definite edge over DC for tomorrow’s match. It might just be first time in five matches that Kolkata defeat Delhi on a Saturday!
