DOTA 2 NEWS: ESL One Germany; Teams, Format, Schedule, Prize pool & all the latest details from the ESL One Germany Online 2020. ESL One Germany which is powered by Intel and it will feature of the best teams in Europe/CIS competing for a $400,000 prize pool. Read below to find out all the details about ESL One Germany.

The ESL action is back and it will move to Germany this year. Although the event is online, fans are anticipating and excited for one whole month of intense non-stop DOTA 2 brawling. Below, you can find all the details about the teams, format, schedule regarding ESL One Germany.

ESL One Germany Teams

Virtus.Pro, who decided to withdraw from the competition at the last minute to make roster changes, will be replaced by Cyber Legacy.

11 teams have been invited & 5 teams made it through from the closed-qualifiers. A total of 16 teams will be fighting it out in ESL One Germany.

ESL One Germany Format & Schedule

The Group stage of ESL One Germany will begin on October 5th & end on October 20th. All the 16 teams will be placed in a single table in a modified Swiss-system format. There will be a total of 5 rounds of matchups & teams will never play an opponent twice.

After 3 wins or 3 losses, the team will stop playing. Each team will require a total of 3 wins to proceed to the playoff stages. A total of 8 teams will proceed to the playoffs.

The playoffs will take place from October 23rd to November 1st. The 8 teams who have qualified will play in a double-elimination bracket.

All games are B03 except the Grand Finals which is a B05.
