Elden Ring wins Game of The Year at The Game Awards 2022

Despite God of War Ragnarok dominating at The Game Awards, the Game of the Year crown has gone to Elden Ring. FromSoftware’s action role-playing game has walked away with four awards in total. From Best Game Direction to Game of the Year, here are all the trophies Elden Rings bagged at TGA 2022.

While God of War Ragnarok won big with six titles, Elden Ring managed to grab the biggest honor of the year. Built alongside George R.R. Martin, the Elden Ring lore and universe has now cemented its place in gaming’s hall of fame. While the biggest title of the year is under their belt, the Elden Ring developers aren’t done with the franchise. During the acceptance speech, it was confirmed that the developers aren’t done with the game and intend to release more content in the future.
