$125,000,000 Worth Charles Leclerc Signs With WME to Boost His Presence in Hollywood

Charles Leclerc’s F1 career has been on an upward trajectory since he made his debut back in 2018. With his incredible racing abilities and charming nature, the Ferrari driver has captivated the hearts of fans and those of some of the most prestigious commercial brands. With a net worth of 125,000,000, Leclerc recently signed a new deal with WME, which will only further cement his presence in the Hollywood industry, as per Variety.

The Ferrari driver is partnering with the WME agency, where he will represent the entertainment and commercial enterprises. Certainly, his attractive appearance and exceptional skill prompted his supporters to cross all borders to get a glimpse of their beloved person.

Last April, Charles Leclerc was in hot water when his home address in Monaco became public. This caused a large crowd to gather outside his home, hindering his personal life. Though this popularity is obvious both on and off the track, it is now banging the doorbells for multiple Hollywood ventures.

How did Charles Leclerc and the WME deal happen?

The WME represents top artists in every major music genre. This includes anything from global tours and festivals to corporate, college, and private functions. In light of these connections between WME and the Hollywood industry, Charles Leclerc wanted to take advantage of the firm and expand his visibility in Hollywood.

Talking about Leclerc’s on-screen presence, he was recently seen in Season 5 of the Drive to Survive. Apart from that, there’s also a new Netflix project running, which might include Leclerc. According to Variey.com, ” Netflix recently announced that many of its racing pros from “Drive to Survive” will face off against pro-golfers for a streaming special to air in November.”

If Leclerc is cast in the new Netflix series, he will be appearing on the streaming service for the second time. Discussing his Hollywood aspirations, the 26-year-old was hired last year as a voice actor for Pixar’s animation Buzz Light Year, providing his voice for the film’s Italian version. Fortunately, his engagement with movies and business does not end there, since the Ferrari driver also represents a variety of brands. His success, like that of many other F1 drivers, can undoubtedly be traced directly to the success of Drive to Survive, which has influenced the American F1 market.

How has the DTS impacted F1 drivers?

The arrival of Liberty Media and its partnership with Netflix has surely boosted the popularity of Formula One. Since Docuseries was aired in 2019 sports has risen exponentially, and if we look at the rise from season 2022 to season 2023, it has skyrocketed to 757%. While some fans were drawn to it because of the dramatic story, others were lured in because of the adorable drivers.

Though Daniel Ricciardo is undoubtedly one of the most popular drivers, there were a few others who managed to make the fans fall in love with them. Charles Leclerc was one of them. The Monegasque gets so much love given that he is a Ferrari star. Besides this, what captivates the audience is his humble and friendly demeanor. As a result of this, it was revealed earlier this year in March that Leclerc’s social media account has increased by 64% since the previous year.

Because of his growing popularity, Leclerc might have signed a contract with WME. Though this isn’t the 26-year-old’s sole deal, he was featured in the 2020 short film “Le Grand Rendezvous-Vous,” a recreation of 1976’s Cetait un rendezvous. Besides he is also a brand ambassador for the watch company Richard Mille and the face of the 2020 Giorgio Armani made-to-measure camp. When discussing his association with Ferrari, it was rumored that he signed a 2+3-year contract worth over $200 million.
