Kelly Piquet’s daughter, Penelope, shares a very special bond with Max Verstappen. The sweet relationship between the adorable tot Verstappen has captivated fans, bringing out a child-like innocence in the fierce champion.
Once again, Penelope brought out this side to Verstappen, calling him to come to play with her while the motorsport enthusiast put in laps on virtual racing setup. As the adorable clip went viral, fans couldn’t help but chuckle at the chaos the three-year-old brought to the table.
Verstappen was completely absorbed in his screen but had earlier promised P to accompany her to a delightful tea party. Unfortunately, his intense focus on the race caused him to forget the promise. Penelope, who was growing impatient, stormed in to snap him out of his race.

As Verstappen did eventually join his girlfriend’s kid for her fancy tea party, fans too joined baby P in celebration. As one fan quoted, “baby p has max all wrapped around her finger.”
As Verstappen had once revealed, neither his cats nor P were allowed in his room while he was racing. However, looks like Penelope found her way through.
Verstappen’s family plan
Surely spending time with Kelly and Penelope has seeded the thoughts of a family for the 25-year-old. During an interview with Vogue, Piquet shared her desire for her daughter, Penelope, to have a sibling in the near future. She also expressed her wish to expand her family. “Personally, I would like to have more children.”
Verstappen, on the other hand, has been open about his aspirations of starting a family, but he’s not overly concerned about whether his children will follow in his racing footsteps. He also mentioned he won’t be taking notes from his own father on the matter. “I definitely want kids and if they want to race, that’s fine. I do think I would do it differently than how my father and I did it.”
As the couple hits the three-year mark on their relationship, there’s still a lot of time for these concerns. For now, Verstappen sits comfortably in his role as Red Bull’s #1 star.
