‘Can’t get a brake’: Sebastian Vettel retires from his last race at Monza from Ferrari, as his brakes stop working at the turn 1.
Sebastian Vettel gets a saddening end to his last appearance for Ferrari at Monza, as the German driver’s brake didn’t work properly at turn 1, making him crash into the small barriers.
It was not even like Vettel got to race for even half of the race, his car broke down when the cars rolling int the 6th lap and he was certainly struggling since the beginning.
It was spotted on camera that debris, probably in from of his brake duct flew in the air. As soon as Vettel failed to take a turn, he conveyed to his team principal that his brakes aren’t working.
He went on for the further lap but was barely contesting and by the start of pitlane phase he cleared the way for Kevin Magnussen’s car behind him.

Sad day for Ferrari at Monza
It seemed like it couldn’t go worse for Ferrari after this, but fate made everyone wonder wrong. It was lap 24 when Charles Leclerc who rose into the table astronomically when rest of the paddock went in for a pit change.
It seemed something positive for Leclerc might come out but unfortunately, he barged into the barrier while entering into the sector 2 of the track.

After the crash, the race was shown a red flag and the race stopped while ending the race for Ferrari at Monza. Leclerc’s damaged car was then lifted by Marshalls.
