As the German left for Aston Martin in 2021 and eventually left the sport at the end of the 2022 season, the love isn’t lost between them as they are often seen talking about each other in front of the media.
Vettel, who regarded Leclerc as his younger self and had a nice farewell message for him, got along with the 25-year-old pretty well. Furthermore, the current Ferrari star had love and respect for the veteran of the sport, as seen in a recently surfaced video from 2022.
Charles Leclerc has a Paddock plan for Vettel
The Monegasque has a plan for his ex-Ferrari teammate if he decides to venture into the paddock in the years to come. According to the video on Twitter, the Prancing Horse star said he’ll have passes for the German international.
Speaking about it, Leclerc said, “As I told him before, I will always have one or two passes if he wants to come to a race because I will be very happy to see him in the paddock still next year.”

Is Vettel coming back to F1?
Despite multiple rumors that linked the German driver back to the paddock, there aren’t any concrete reports that see him doing his bits in F1.
Rumors such as his return as a driver in Aston Martin, or as a permanent replacement for Helmut Marko in the taskmaster role. But so far, the former Red Bull star didn’t admit to coming back.
Furthermore, the 35-year-old stated that he is very much enjoying his retirement as per GP Today. He also added that he has no regrets about the decision that he took last year to focus on his family.
