Charles Leclerc continues to be a hardcore supporter of Ferrari, as the Monegasque spent an all-nighter, witnessing the Ferrari supercars dominate the centenary Le Mans race. In fact, he set aside the troubles of his current F1 season and makes a thrilling announcement of his plans for the future.

Leclerc was all for team Ferrari after the team secured a front-row lockout for the mega event. The team is set to make a remarkable comeback at the legendary French circuit after a hiatus of 50 years. And sure enough, the team in Red has won the challenge presented to them.

Not only is Leclerc cheering for his team, but also one of his teammates, Antonio Giovinazzi, who is the reserve driver for Ferrari, Haas, and Alfa Romeo this season. Gio has proved to be a vital part of the team’s entry this year and has solidified Ferrari’s formidable presence.

Charles Leclerc makes Le Mans dreams known

Hours before Ferrari tasted victory, Leclerc witnessed greatness as the team dominated the race through and through. Having witnessed the team have a fighting chance, awoke something in the F1 driver, who hopes to replicate the same.

Reporting live from ‘Casa Ferrari’, Leclerc said, “It’s an incredible event and I hope that one day I will be part of this show.”

After the race, Leclerc’s emotions to accomplish the same feat were heightened. After watching Ferrari win, he confessed“I would love to drive a Ferrari here. It would be an incredible experience. Once in my life, I want to tick that box. I’m so happy. It’s incredible to have a Ferrari win here.”

While the F1 division of the team has failed to reach such results, the Le Mans victory has been a well-deserved achievement. The idea of Leclerc replicating this sometime in the future while dabbling in endurance racing is the stuff of dreams for any driver. Hopefully, we see the driver begin his journey to the Triple Crown.

Ferrari takes the cake with stunning Le Mans victory

It was Leclerc’s first time witnessing the iconic race, and what an event to be a part of. As Ferrari flags soared in the grandstands, the garage erupted in celebration as the Prancing Horses were once again victors.

In a momentous comeback, Ferrari’s return with the groundbreaking 499P Le Mans Hypercar marked a significant milestone for the Italian outfit, as it secured its first overall victory since 1965.

Crossing the finish line, it was Pier Guidi behind the wheel of the #51 Ferrari who claimed the victory, finishing a remarkable minute and 21 seconds ahead of the #81 Toyota piloted by Sebastien Buemi. The 499P showcased superior speed and performance and gained a clear advantage in the latter stages of the race.

A mega moment in history, one witnessed by Charles Leclerc from start to finish. Now, as the Le Mans teams sip their champagne, it makes one wonder when Leclerc will be able to do the same.
